Production Machine Operators

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift 45-65 lbs. consecutively

On-the-Job Training Provided.
Must pass a pre-employment drug testing.

Production Engineer

Responsibility

  • Product Development: process, design, layout, and process standards
  • Process improvement through machine, material, labor efficiency, and manufacturing methods

Hours

  • 8-10 hours/day, 5-6 days/week
  • Work hour matches company requirement
  • Excellent attendance is required to maintain employment

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in manufacturing, specifically TPS-related customers
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, welding and/or assembly robotics (must be able to read and interpret metric blueprints and comprehend automated machine panels)
  • Basic knowledge of jig making and tool selection for CNC machines
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Must communicate daily (verbal and written)
  • Must have a desire to learn from and work with others

Tasks
(Control Areas)

  • Develop and implement process improvements for existing and new products
  • Investigate and decide on new equipment specifications
  • Manage and set up equipment/layout changes
  • Supporting quality improvement by in-house jig and tool-making/ fool-proofing controls
  • Responsible for all ECI’s (Engineering Changes)
  • Train staff (supervisors and operators) on preventative maintenance and 5S activities

Inventory Control Specialist, International Suppliers

Hours

  • 40+ hours/week, Saturdays may be necessary

Tasks
(Control Areas)

Inventory Control (material inventory/finished products)

  • Manages raw material stock rotations
    -Order production parts (import components – Seals, Fittings, components) and raw materials
  • Maintain location of inventory before/ after delivery (FIFO)
  • Record monthly inventory levels and pursue accordingly
  • Maintain inventory space efficiently
  • Maintain monthly forecasts from customers; identify discrepancies
  • Project: Make a map and train associates on the location of goods/ rules for maintaining inventory; All labels must be in English

    Shipping/Receiving

    • Coordinate shipments coming to/from international suppliers
    • Record and track shipments as required
    • Inspect incoming/ outgoing shipments as required
    • Work with suppliers for damaged shipments (packaging or materials)
    • Assist in performing supplier audits

      Production Planning

      • Designate what/how many parts are to be made for all departments, shifts, and positions

        Shipping/Receiving

        • Must have a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing discipline or related work experience
        • Pre employment and Random Drug Screens (arranged by OKUNO)
        • Must wear required PPE and obtain a certified forklift license
        • Timeliness is expected, accuracy is expected
        • Must have own transportation
        • Strong written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate in Japanese
        • Must have a valid work visa
        • Must be proficient in Excel, customer portals, and PowerPoint

          Maintenance Supervisor

          Responsibility

          • Preventative maintenance and function of equipment, the building, and the grounds

          Hours

          • Hours are based on company work time schedules and any additional time necessary to meet the job responsibilities.

          Schedule

          • The schedule is set by the Production Manager – core time is 9.5 hours/day
          • Changes when order changes, shifts move, or other circumstances arise
          • Overtime is required as needed
          • Expected to work additional Saturdays and Sundays as needed

          Reports To

          • The Production Manager

          Basic Control Areas

          • Support line by ensuring all equipment is safely and efficiently operating.
          • Responsible for supporting Quality(Q), Cost (C), Delivery (D), Safety (S), and Morale (M) activities
            (daily operation and mid – to – long term goals).
          • Train Team Members/ Staff on daily maintenance requirements
          • 5S in the Maintenance area
          • Control and order spare parts, jigs, fixtures, and equipment supplies
          • Responsible for maintaining all Safety inspections related to equipment, building, and grounds (i.e. Fire extinguishers, sprinklers, cranes/ hoist, dock area, equipment supplies)
          • Accountable for accurate record keeping related to maintenance (purchasing, safety, inspections preventative maintenance record keeping)
          • Participate/ Support Customer requirements/ Customer satisfaction
          • Support safety / environmental projects and programs
          • Other tasks as assigned by the Production Manager

          Basic Performance Scope
          (Skill Requirements)

          • Able to make equipment repair assessment
          • Run in the operator’s position when necessary
          • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and numerical maintenance
          • Perform quick turnaround (make parts, short-term fixes, problem-solving, etc.)
          • Communicate technical information with service vendors
          • Able to read blueprints and electrical charts
          • Communicate respectfully with customers, vendors, and Team Members
          • Able to perform statistical studies enabling PM and intervals to be set
          • Work behavior/style must reflect Company philosophy, standards, policies, and
            culture of constant improvement
          • Contribute to the Company’s profitability through QCDSM
